Amber Heard‘s lawyer has been going crazy over the jury verdict that found Heard liable for more than 10 million dollars, saying the trial was a “zoo” and that the jury was influenced by social media even though they were not supposed to get outside news.
Elaine Charlson Bredehoft went out and complained about social media attacks on Heard and how they made their way to the jurors saying it was inescapable and that it unfairly tainted the view of her client. Of course, there’s not really any way to prove that, especially now that the trial is over. Maybe she just lost because Heard was a liar and she didn’t do a good job defending her? No, must have been something else.
Amber Heard Can’t Pay Johnny Depp The $10 Million Worth Of Damages?
While a trial in the United Kingdom found a tabloid site was okay calling Depp a “wife-beater” after he tried suing for libel, Bredehoft was angry that the judge would not let the jury know about it. However, the laws are different between here and there and it would have been quite alarming had a Virginia state judge allowed something like that from another country to be part of this trial.
She continued to say that this trial “set women back” and another big issue… Apparently Heard doesn’t have the means to pay the net judgment of more than $10 million. That is one of the most surprising things about this trial now… How is Heard going to be able to pay Depp if she doesn’t even have the money?
Things just got a lot more interesting and we’ll have to see what Heard can come up with.
