Comedian Dave Chappelle was attacked while performing on stage for a new Netflix special! However, due to his no phone rules, there is little to no video of the account but we may see a bit in his special, who knows! The attacker rushed the stage with a switchblade-like knife and struggled with Chappelle for a few minutes while Dave yelled for security.
Reports say that actor and musician Jamie Foxx was there and rushed to the stage to help Dave with the attacker. Thankfully, it appears Dave is fine, and the attacker got what he deserved.

Dave Chappelle ATTACKED On Stage While Filming New Netflix Special
What happened to the attacker you ask? Allegedly as he was taken away his arms were badly damaged and mangled. It looks like he got torn apart for his trouble.
The only video we have of the attacker is after the incident as he is being pinned up against a wall being cuffed.
There seems to be a scary precedent set for attacking comedians now. You probably remember (who could forget), when Will Smith rushed the stage and smacked Chris Rock for his joke. If this is the era we’re moving into, I want off the ride. Comedians are there to say crazy things and make us laugh. When we can’t laugh at ourselves, we need to take a big step back and look at our lives.
I’m a big fan of Dave and glad to hear that he’s fine, but this is a scary moment that may become more common now, sadly.
