The Bachelorette alums, JoJo and Jordan may have taken a long way round, but after 6 years and three separate wedding dates, the popular Bachelor Nation couple are officially married.
31-year-old JoJo and her 33 beaus, Jordan met during season 12 of The Bachelorette all the way back in 2016. Though they left the show as a betrothed couple, they have had to put their wedding date off twice, due to the pandemic.
‘The Bachelorette’: JoJo Fletcher And Jordan Rodgers Finally Say Their “I Do’s”
Finally, on Saturday, May 14 they exchanged their personally written vows at the picturesque Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California.
The lead-up to the “I do”s didn’t run all smoothly, all the time. In May 2019, the Texan beauty opened up about the tough first year the couple experienced after the cameras stopped rolling.
“We’ve been very open about our first year being tough,” JoJo told Us Weekly. “It wasn’t the easiest. We had definitely some rocky, rocky moments, but those were growing years. And so, we are at the best stage we’ve ever been in our relationship. Life just keeps getting better, you fall more in love. That sounds cheesy, but it’s true.”
Jordan, a sports commentator, and brother to Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers quantified their deeper love with an ever bigger rock when he re-proposed in August 2019, three years after the original, highly produced on air proposal.
As the photos of the wedding, exclusively obtained by People Magazine showed, the bride looked stunning in an Ines Di Santo gown. Bachelor season 20 favorite, Becca Tilley served as one of JoJo’s bridesmaids while newlywed Bachelor Nation alums Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk were among the guests at the black-tie event, dining on an elegant Italian outdoor feast of pasta, steak, and fish. It is said the celebrations continued into the night.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Jordan and JoJo Rodgers.
