‘The Bachelorette’ star Tayshia Adams isn’t nearly as upset as fans that she will not be co-hosting the next season of the Gabby and Rachel led dating show. In fact, according to her chat with Drew Barrymore on The Drew Barrymore Show, Tayshia sounded somewhat relieved that Jesse Palmer will continue on with the hosting duties.

“Truthfully, that’s the million-dollar question,” Tayshia teased when Drew asked if the once contestant, once lead and two time co-host would continue on with the franchise that has made her a household name.

Though admitting her time on the show “really served me”, she also explained how “it’s taken up a lot of my time for the last four years.”

“I’m ready to just, do the next thing,” she concluded.

Fans needn’t worry about never seeing the popular alum again, though.

“It’s a pause,” the 31 year old confirmed.

The timing seems perfect for Tayshia to take her ‘pause’. Not only did she and her final rose winner, Zac Clark break off their engagement, but she was unceremoniously relieved of her Bachelorette hosting duties.

However, Tayshia, has also stepped away from her co-host duties on two Bachelor-themed podcasts — Click Bait and Bachelor Happy Hour. She ended her time on the airwaves in January.

    For now.

Meanwhile, Tayshia’s partner in (hosting) crime, Canadian-born, Kaitlyn Bristowe has no plans to leave the franchise behind her.

Kaitlyn explained on her Off The Vine podcast how she (and Tayshia) learned the news that Jesse Palmer — who just finished hosting Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor — will continue on to host the double-header Bachelorette 19th season.

“I saw at the end of the finale, Jesse was announcing the two bachelorettes, and he said he was going to be by their side for that. So, I guess spoiler alert: I’m not coming back.”

There don’t seem to be any ill-feelings, though (at least not publicly).

“I think Jesse’s amazing,” Kaitlyn declared. “He’ll be a great host and I hope he helps Gabby and Rachael in any way that he can.”

Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia’s (currently filming) season begins July 11 on ABC.
