On the most recent episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live’, Andy Cohen really did bring up some tension when he decided to throw some interesting questions at Kandi Burruss and her daughter. Cohen asked her daughter about the relationship that she has with her father and Kandi thought it was completely wrong of him to do so.

Kandi took the time to open up on the Slut Pig podcast, she let her fans know what she was thinking about what he said to her daughter. She said, “I didn’t say anything to him about it, but I didn’t really like when he brought up my daughter’s father to her on camera on ‘Live’.” Her daughter, Riley, was happy to help as she filled in as the bartender on the show that night.

Burruss added, “She just so happened to be the bartender. There was somebody else that was supposed to be the bartender, but they were late. Riley was there, so they were like, ‘Oh, you wanna be the bartender?’ It wasn’t like she was prepped or anything, so it kind of caught her off guard.” The relationship that Riley has with her father has always been a sensitive subject for years. Her father is Russell Spencer, who is a music producer.
Cohen asked Riley, “Has your relationship with your dad improved at all?” Riley replied to him, “I don’t remember the last time I spoke to him, so that answers your question.” Kandi did agree with the way that her daughter handled the question, but she is still not happy with how Cohen approached it.
Riley appeared on the 13th season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and on the show, she did mention that she felt like her father needed to pay child support for her since she was about to go away to college in New York. It wasn’t until April of 2021 when Kandi did win the case for her ex to pay child support for Riley.
Kandi hasn’t received an apology from Cohen as of yet and he hasn’t said too much about his questioning. We will continue to monitor their social media accounts to see if anyone makes another statement about Riley’s relationship with her father.
