The 2022 Met Gala was filled with celebrities wearing ridiculous clothing and strutting in front of a camera while there’s record high inflation, people are barely able to feed their families and purchase gas and there’s still a war happening in Ukraine. They just had to have their moment though so they could be the center of attention.
Piers Morgan called this out and described it as a ‘tone deaf narcissistic orgy’ and that’s exactly what it was. These people don’t care about what’s going on, they have millions of dollars and want to be the center of attention for a few hours, and that’s exactly what they got.

Most notably was Kim Kardashian wearing Marilyn Monroe’s dress that she wore when she sensationally sang Happy Birthday Mr President. She claims she had to lose 17 pounds in three weeks (which is very unhealthy and not correct at all) and Piers said that Monroe must have been rolling in her grave.
Many people related to what Piers was saying as well, “If these “celebrities” knew what the majority of people actually think of them, they’d never leave their mansions again.”, “Go piers! For all of us who could never talk and was forced to accept these type of ridiculousness”, “Glad to hear this. over the top narcissism only in America. A show of fools at a time like this. Piers, I don’t care or even know what they have have said about you, but this time you are right on.” and “Totally sickening. No one else could fill that dress like Marilyn. All I can say is that Kim looked ridiculous in Marilyn’s gown. That gown is Marilyn’s🙂 and hers alone. Thank you Piers. I agreed with everything you said.”
