There’s a new theory floating around about how Brian Laundrie, former boyfriend of Gabby Petito who claimed responsibility for her death, may not have been completely alone when he committed suicide.
According to former FBI Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer now that the official report concerning the crime scene where Brian Laundrie’s remains were found has been released, some interesting things have come to light, one of them being that Brian used his non-dominant hand to take his own life.
Did Brian Laundrie work alone?
In all documented cases of Brian Laundrie using tools, whether it be writing or drawing, or anything that required hand-orientatiion, it looked like Brian was predominantly right-handed. Now, there is always the possibility that he could have been ambidextrous and there were just no documented cases.
But in all of the interviews with his family, and in all of the videos that have surfaced of Brian using things, the only thing it’s ever been documented that he used his left hand for was eating a peach once. So it seems a little odd that he would suddenly use his non-dominant hand to take his own life.
In the report, it did confirm that Brian Laundrie is indeed dead, because not only do they have dental records, but they also looked at the DNA within his bone structure and that was indeed Brian Laundrie’s body, there was no possible way that any conspiracy theory about him being secretly alive could even be entertained at this point.
(Tana Mongeau can rest at ease.) Coffindaffer says that it’s not uncommon to have someone, usually a family member, to “assist” when the decision to commit suicide is made. That being said there is no proof that the Laundries were actually there during the time that Brian committed suicide, however, Coffindaffer thinks it’s a bit strange that they would take his only means of transportation out of the reserve if they thought by any chance that he was still alive.
There is also the fact that the Laundries didn’t report Brian missing for days, and that they knew that he had left behind his phone and ID and all the things that a normal person would need, unless they were either going to commit suicide, or they were going on the run.
Not to mention, the FBI and other search teams couldn’t find him for the longest but the Laundries somehow magically went right to him… and when they did, Roberta Laundrie’s reaction was a single, crystalline tear. Just from a Mother’s point of view, that reaction makes absolutely no sense.
There is also the weapon that Laundrie used to take his life, the weapon used was not a semi-automatic handgun, which has a very easy to pull trigger, Brian used a revolver, which has a lot more difficult trigger to pull and requires a lot more strength in one’s hand in order to get the job done. We at DSD will keep an eye on this case. Stay tuned!!!
