The case of Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie has been a crazy one. There have been plenty of twists and turns and now that investigators have found more information, it does seem as if Laundrie murdered his fiancé while they were on their trip across the country.
It has been about three months since Laundrie’s body was found in Florida and now the Denver FBI has reported that he is more than likely the one who killed her. His notebook gives away some grave details about what happened back in September when she was reported missing.
True Crime: Brian Laundrie’s Notebook Found with Confessions
The notebook in question was found along with Laundrie’s remains. There are many statements in this notebook that point the finger at Laundrie. The FBI said, “All logical investigative steps have been concluded in this case. The investigation did not identify any other individuals other than Brian Laundrie directly involved in the tragic death of Gabby Petito.”
The couple was touring the country in their van when Gabby was reported missing. They had been seen in many areas and in one place, Utah, they were even stopped by the police for some erratic behaviors. It seems that they were having a domestic dispute, but the police didn’t think that anyone was in any harm after they talked with them both for quite some time. Now it seems that they were very wrong.
Gabby’s body was discovered on September 19 in the Grand Teton National Park and the police declared it a homicide. It was found that she had been strangled and that was the cause of her death. After her body was found, the Wyoming police issued a warrant for Laundrie’s arrest. He wasn’t the main suspect at the time, but police wanted to know more about what exactly he knew.
When police couldn’t get any straight answers from Laundrie’s parents, they took to searching the area in order to find him. They ended up finding his body and backpack on October 20 in a nearby swamp. In the notebook, there is apparently a lot of information concerning Gabby’s death. It looks like he is the one who is responsible for Gabby’s death and with these findings, it looks as if this case may finally be closed and we hope that all of the friends and family involved can finally get closure on the horrible death of Gabby Petito.
