After Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage, it seemed obvious that the attacker would be in prison for a long time to come. However, no one in Los Angeles seems to go to jail and this was brought to light by Chappelle’s friend Joe Rogan who shared the news on Instagram.
Rogan was angry and called out Los Angeles for not arresting people who commit crime and why people are losing faith in law enforcement. Joe called it out because the attack was captured on video, in a public setting in front of tons of people, yet he is not going to be charged.
“When you see that a person commits a clear crime, and does it to one of the most loved performers alive, and does it in a very high profile public setting, and it gets captured on video, and you don’t charge that person for what they obviously did, it’s the kind of thing that makes people lose faith in law enforcement.
That’s never good.

Dave Chappelle Update: L.A. District Attorney DECLINES Felony Charges For Suspect Who ATTACKED Dave Chappelle On Stage
This is so blatant and obvious that there is something fishy going on and makes us wonder why this man isn’t going to be charged! Was he paid by someone to carry out the attack and he was able to get off because of that? There’s absolutely no way that the attacker shouldn’t be charged and I can only assume this is going to come back up. Especially if Chappelle wants those charges to be pressed, he’ll make it happen.
Just listen to the report, “prosecutors determines that while criminal conduct occurred, the evidence as presented DID NOT constitute felony conduct.” How is charging a man with a knife not a felony? Is that not attempted murder?
What do you think? Why is the man not being charged and do you think Chappelle will want to push for charges? Let us know in the comments below.
