‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that in a preview for this coming week, we see Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) getting thrown in the middle of the Newman drama. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has come out and told Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) that he knows about his fake cancer story.
That has caused Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to go on the offensive against her own father and defend her husband. However, we all know she’s wrong and doesn’t know that Ashland has been playing her like a fiddle. Stranger yet, is that Nate is getting involved, and we’re curious how he’s going to play into things.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: How Is Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) Going To Help Prevent Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) From Doing Future Damage?
Nate has decided basically that he’s ready to step away from medicine and into the business world after receiving an offer from Ashland. Now though, he’s being tasked by Victor to ‘prevent him from doing further damage to Victoria.’ Is Victor asking for Nate to do something in the medical wheelhouse, or just to play along and be Ashland’s buddy for now?
As Victor had asked his son, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to spy on Ashland, is that what Victor is going to ask of Nate now? To spy on Ashland and try to get some insider information about what he’s doing and how he can get the upper hand or could there be something more sinister, like having Nate (a doctor not involved in Ashland’s scheme) reveal that Ashland actually does have cancer (not really, though, just as a mind game).
One thing is for sure, Nate is getting a true taste of what’s to come if he should join the business world and maybe this encounter will deter him and he’ll say in the medical world after all.
