‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that it looks like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wants more power in his work life, however, with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) shopping around the idea of merging her company with her brother, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), it has Billy feeling like he won’t be part of that equation.

Billy has already been fighting his inner self while Lily continues to be the head of the company, and he’s been left with scraps and little things to do. However, he’s stood tall up to this point and supported her through everything while asking for nothing. He’s been reduced to a bad podcast on the side, but it looks like tension may be building up.

With Lily soul bound on merging the companies, not only does Billy think it’s not the right move, but he’s also worried that there won’t be a spot for him in this new company. He even brought it up to Lily, and she didn’t really give him any confirmation that he would have a role in the new company should it happen.

In fact, she kind of made it sound like he would be a cheerleader for her and that she would always have him to talk to. This would not work for Billy at all… He needs to be working, and lately, he’s been losing his mind and talking to himself at 3 in the morning because he feels unfulfilled and isn’t doing anything with his life currently.

It’s written on the wall right in front of them, and as viewers, we’re screaming at our television because we know exactly why Billy can’t sleep, but for some reason, they cannot see it!

What do you think? Will Billy contest Lily on the new merger idea a bit more and could we see him actually excel at a podcast or something? Let us know in the comments below.
