Shane Dawson, in a recent video announced that he wants to do another podcast. He wants to start interviewing people again. He said, “I did that for almost seven years. It almost ruined my life.” and now he wants to do it again?
He did say that this time around would be different, and he wouldn’t be saying the same offensive things that he said in his previous podcast that offended so many people (and thank God for that), but we’re kind of wondering what this new venture would entail?

Obviously, he returned to the internet with reviews that were decidedly mixed. Some people were really here for his return, while others… mocked him mercilessly, but such is the nature of the internet, you certainly can’t win ‘em all.
Since his focus was the paranormal when he returned to the internet the last time, would his podcast be about paranormal things or would he branch out into other topics?
I don’t think he would be in quite the same vein as the “Cancelled” Podcast by Tana Mongeau simply because that is a market that has been cornered by Tana and we’re convinced that only she can get away with saying half the things that she does. (Granted, she is a decade younger than Shane as well, the climate is a lot different when you’re 23 as opposed to someone approaching their mid-30’s.)
Of course, it wouldn’t be Shane without some humor thrown in, but since he said he wasn’t going to go for the offensive jokes, which are arguably the easiest, one wonders what brand of humor Shane will be marketing this time on this podcast?
Ultimately, he’s still Shane Dawson, he’s not going to shift focus suddenly and become like Brittany Dawn, who some argue shifted her focus to religion to prevent people from holding her accountable for ripping people off with her diet plans, we don’t think Shane would go that far.
Would he invite some of his old friends on the podcast? Perhaps, provided they still hang out with him, but it honestly kind of looks like they don’t? Maybe he should start out with his own segment on The Sip and go from there. Stay tuned!!!
