Just a few days ago, we saw Ed Brown on 90 Day: The Single Life being shot at during a date in Mexico. This date was supposed to be a moment to meet a new woman and as things were going so well, shooting started and the couple had to hide to avoid being shot. Ed decided that he needed to speak out about the date.
90 Day Fiancé: Ed Opens Up to Fans
Ed and his date, Kaory, were safe after the shooting. The shots rang out while they were on their date in a restaurant in Mexico. Kaory was praying the whole time and was terrified. Even the camera crew and producers had to hide in order to stay safe. Ed was excited to go and meet Kaory since they had been chatting via text and video for a few months. He felt a good connection with her, but had a lot of doubts because she does have a son and lives in Mexico.

Ed told cameras, “It was crazy, everybody starts rushing into the restaurant and the place are outside going, ‘Everybody get down, get down.’ And I heard, pop, and I heard two gunshots. Kaory was the first person into the bathroom. And I held her, and we closed the door and we just trembled. At that moment, I thought I was going to die. Basically it was a communication breakdown between two law enforcement officers, and one fired a gun and one bumped a car, so it was a big misunderstanding, not drug gun fire, which we thought it was.”
His date, Kaory was very upset and embarrassed because she didn’t want Ed to think that her city was always like this. She was disappointed in what happened and Ed added in, “I was thinking this was it. There was no way out. It was a feeling of hopelessness, and I was scared to death. And I was looking at Kaory, and Kaory has this look of just, disappointment. She was in disbelief that this happened.”
Ed said that this moment brought them closer together and said that they will just be deeply connected now. They have officially gone through almost dying together, so what does this do for them now? The couple seems to have feelings for one another and Ed had a feeling that by getting a hotel room for them, this could go one of two ways. They are going to go on a second date and we hope it is much better than the first.
