Ever since the casting of Robert Pattinson in ‘The Batman’, viewers have been calling out the film and the actor for miscasting. There were complaints that Pattinson wasn’t gaining muscle for the role and not taking it seriously, and people are still hung up on the fact that he was in the ‘Twilight’ series.
As a high schooler who had to take many girls on dates to the ‘Twilight’ series, I get it. I hated him too. Until I realized that he’s an actor and has done a ton of great work since, including ‘The Lighthouse’, which is phenomenal. He really is a great actor and people said that same thing about Heath Ledger as the Joker, but now he’s become an icon.
With the newest trailer for the film coming out today, it may have shut down at least a few voices who said Pattinson wouldn’t fit the role.

Robert Pattinson Appears Buff & Shirtless In New ‘The Batman’ Trailer
In the trailer, Pattinson appears shirtless and looking buff and in shape. It appears the rumors were just that, rumors and the actor has gained the muscle for the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Just take a look at the screengrab below to take a closer look.
Sure, it’s a film and there are probably some tricks happening here to make him look bigger than he actually is, but at least it looks like he’s taking it seriously. Now, if you want to grumble about the fact he was in some high school love drama movies about vampires and werewolves, that’s fine, don’t go see the movie. But don’t ruin it for the rest of us.
