They might not be living the royal life anymore, per say, but they surely are winning a lot of contests as royals. There’s a new report that says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been named the “most photogenic royal couple,” according to research by photographer experts over at Printique who analyzed Instagram hashtags to come up with the result. Here’s what you need to know.
While there’s no doubt that Harry and Meghan do make a handsomely good couple, they’ve also managed to leave the rest of the royal family in the dust by producing more than 2.4 million Instagram hashtags between them.

In fact, the researchers say that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have nearly seven times more hashtags than the average for the other royal couples, including Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Speaking of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, they managed to garner 2.2 million hashtags while Queen Elizabeth and her late husband Prince Philip came in third with an impressive 1.4 million hashtags among them.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle is clearly still the most influential royal in the world. In a new survey by Design Bundles, came out on top with 7.4 million searches on Google, 10.4million Instagram hashtags, and 11,200 articles written about her. Unfortunately, Queen Elizabeth came out in second, while Kate Middleton followed in third. Meghan’s husband Prince Harry was fourth while his late mother Princess Diana rounded up the top five.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone as Meghan Markle was also voted as having the most popular wedding dress of the decade, according to a survey conducted by gifting specialists Find Me A Gift. That’s because Meghan’s dress was the most searched for the wedding dress of the last ten years, with over 21,900 searches after her wedding to Prince Harry back in2018.
