The Britney Army was not prepared for all of the steaming hot tea that Britney Spears spilled over on her instagram page, but man, are we living for it! First, she started off the post by thanking people who have sent her generous gifts, J.Lo for sending her sexy heels and she even reposted her thanks to Jeffree Star and touted his misting spray once more, but said she had to delete it previously becaue it was ‘too much’ ahem.
Again, a lot has happened that Brit missed, we’ll forgive her. Like, just this weekend she got to see a Kevin Hart show and said she laughed until she cried. She also said that for her birthday she wanted cereal and grilled cheese… awww! Nostalgic.
Then, she went in.
She started off by bringing up her long ago interview with Diane Sawyer, saying that she had had a huge break-up (we’re assuming with then ex Justin Timberlake) and they had only been broken up for a short time when her Dad, manager, and two members of her security team let Sawyer in to interview her.

Britney said she had never shared this with anyone but after the break-up she said that she didn’t talk to anyone for the longest time and Diane Sawyer was apparently one of the first people she actually talked to.
Also, from the way she talked she wasn’t given very much warning that this interview would be happening, it was just thrust upon her in the moment and she had no idea what would be asked of her.
When Diane Sawyer asked if she had a problem with shopping, Britney was floored, she said, “How could I have a problem with shopping when I hadn’t left my apartment?” Britney went on to say that she only stayed in that apartment for a year. So… it seems someone was feeding the media the wrong information – wonder who that could have been?
She said that back then, at 22, she was a baby, and that Sawyer kept referring to her as a ‘woman or a girl’ and to that she said she would tell her now, “Ma’am, I am a catholic slut!
You wanna join me in a mass and I can serve your husband my certificate on shopping for anonymous players???” she then said that Sawyer could kiss her white @$$. (Probably a reference to what Whitney Houston said about Diane Sawyer.)
She said she wasn’t embarassed to share how good it felt to go to an ATM and get out her own money and spend it, however she did say that she felt embarassed for her family for forcing her to work so hard and not realize th fruits of her labor and for the state of California for allowing her Dad to do that all those years.
That’s who she felt secondhand embarassment for, and then went onto say that they have lost her. Wow, the Britney Army doesn’t know what we did to deserve this special, spicy blend of Christmas Tea but we are living. Keep spilling, Britney! Stay tuned!!!
