As we all know, this year was a milestone for Britney Spears, first off, she just turned 40. Secondly – it’s the first birthday in 13 years that she has spent free! So her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, booked a private jet for her and they flew off to celebrate in grand style.
He posted the following on instagram about Britney: “I call you Lioness because I admire your relentless strength, I’m inspired by your beautiful heart, I celebrate your smile that lights up my world. Every day is your birthday, my queen. Happy 1st birthday to my wife!”
Sam Asghari surprises Britney for the Big 4-0!
In spite of using that title to refer to Britney, they aren’t married yet – although they keep referencing it in every other post. We presume the reason that they haven’t gotten married yet is because some of Britney’s finances are still tied up in a trust with her Dad and technically still under conservatorship control – but as for Britney herself – she is free.
However, once those finances are free? You can be willing to bet that those two will be on the plane to the nearest quickie wedding place, or maybe, they’re just taking their own sweet time because Britney has done rush job weddings in the past, in fact that’s kind of on-brand for her.
So maybe this time she’s just taking her own sweet time to figure out exactly what she wants in a wedding because this time.. it’s her decision.
No date has been set for the wedding yet, but that’s okay. Besides, the girl has spent barely a month free, let her stretch her wings before we talk about making her settle down just yet. Besides that, Sam seems to be content exactly where they are, relationship-wise.
No one’s rushing into anything, and that can only be a good thing after what Britney’s been through. Can we just talk about how sweet that instagram message was? Awww!
Some fans have been skeptical of Sam’s intentions in the past, but you have to admit that caption had an extremely sweet sentiment behind it. We wish Britney a happy birthday, and many more in front of her. Stay tuned!!!
