‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers reveal that star Ingo Rademacher has gotten himself into trouble yet again, but this time for a transphobic tweet that he shared on social media. The actor, who has been very vocal about his anti-vaccination stance, reposted a tweet on his Instagram account calling Rachel Levine, the U.S. assistant secretary for health, a “dude.”
Levine is an American pediatrician, and a four-star admiral in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, who has been the United States assistant secretary for health since March of this year.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ingo Rademacher Blasted For Posting Transphobic Tweet
Needless to say, ‘General Hospital’ actress Nancy Lee Grahn, who hasn’t seen eye-to-eye with Rademacher on several different issues these last few years, blasted the actor and was even the first to suggest that he was fired from the hit daytime television show.
She said, “The fellow actor, #IngoRademacher, is mercifully no longer a part of the #gh cast. Transphobia & misgendering are disgusting & should be unacceptable in any industry, including soaps/acting. I stand with my costar @cassandrajames_ & the trans community.”
I am aware of a transphobic post shared by a fellow General Hospital actor. Shame on you. You have some serious unlearning and education to do. I feel deeply disappointed that such a public display of ignorance could come from our GH family.

Fellow GH trans actress Cassandra James, who plays Dr. Terry Randolph, also shared, “I am aware of a transphobic post shared by a fellow ‘General Hospital’ actor. Shame on you. You have some serious unlearning and education to do. I feel deeply disappointed that such a public display of ignorance could come from our GH family. Misgendering trans folks is violence and if you come for one of us, you come for all of us.”
If that weren’t enough, Laura Wright, who plays Carly Corinthos, also took a stand on the issue.
“I am aware of the transphobic post shared by a GH member & I would like to start by saying I am shocked by this action,” wrote Wright. “Misgendering trans individuals is dangerous & I want to make it very clear that I do not support this behavior. I stand in support of all trans folks & echo the words of [Cassandra James].”
“As a member of the GH cast I want everyone in the trans community to know we love you and we support you,” she added. So far producers of General Hospital has not made any comments about the issue.
