Ex-NFL player Zac Stacy was arrested in Florida and is currently in jail after savagely beating his ex-girlfriend while their 5-month-old son sat just feet away on the couch.
The shocking videos of the attack were posted online. The videos show two different angles of Stacy throwing Kristin Evans into a television set (which fell on her), as well as striking her in the head multiple times and while she cried and begged for him to stop.
The video is graphic, and the force that Stacy drags her around and throws her is hard to watch.
Former Rams Runningback Zac Stacy Arrested In Florida After Beating Ex-Girlfriend In Front Of Child
After the attack, Stacy fled the scene was has been on the run since. Evans called 911 and the police say he was already gone by the time they got here. On Thursday, officials announced they were charging Stacy with 2 felonies, aggravated assault, and criminal mischief.
Stacy appeared in court and was ordered to turn over any firearms he owned, as well as his passport. He was allowed a one-time visit to the home to retrieve any personal belongings and will be staying at an Air-Bnb in Tennessee for the time being.
If convicted, Stacy could face up to 15 years in prison.
From our viewpoint, it’s hard to see how Stacy wouldn’t be convicted, as the entire attack was recorded and there are multiple angles showing it. Not only the viciousness of the attack, but the fact that their 5-month-old child was crying on the couch should absolutely go against him, as they could have been injured in the midst of Evans being thrown around and beaten.
It looks like a dark future for Stacy and he’s already been dropped from his youth football ambassadorship.
What do you think? Does Stacy even have a chance at getting out of this or do you think he’ll be spending 15 years in prison? Let us know in the comments below.
