Looks like Jamie-Lynn Spears chose the wrong charity to try and support with proceeds from her new book, “Things I should have said: Family, Faith, and Figuring it out.” because she announced on her instagram page that she would be donating a good portion of the proceeds to the charity “This is my brave” a charity that is dedicated to those with mental health and addiction issues.
Announcing this on her instagram page resulted in a pandemonium of comments for the charity, most of which were all about the conservatorship.
Charity refuses Jamie Lynn Spears’ donation
“Jamie Lynn profited for years off her sister’s conservatorship!” said one, “You’ll willingly take money from a woman who stood by and let her sister be a slave?” and the gem that really stood out finally prompted the charity to post a reply of their own, “If you accept money from Jamie Lynn Spears, then you obviously don’t care about mental health.” that prompted some action on part of the charity and they posted right afterwards saying, “We heard you.
We are taking action. We will be declining the contribution from Jamie Lynn Spears.” apparently the charity really takes its commitment to mental health seriously, although, it’s a little surprising to hear that they didn’t know about Jamie Lynn’s role in things… then again, the charity is run by two Australian women, so, of course they wouldn’t know.
Perhaps, Jamie Lynn should try another charity that isn’t mental-health based, seeing as that isn’t quite her forte. Doesn’t Lou M. Taylor’s husband run a church that they probably always need donations for? It could definitely go to that, since she seems to be thick as thieves with her still.
Or if she really wanted to be useful maybe she could just, on a whim, try and find a charity that is willing to fly all the dogs out of North Korea and get them adopted into good homes.
Dogs are, by design, faithful, loyal, and really don’t mind being trained to do tricks and told what to do – that’s what they’re there for, but that might be a bit of a problem for Jamie Lynn seeing as she keeps accidentally running over her own pets with her Tesla. Hey, we just said fly them out of North Korea, not adopt them personally! Stay tuned!!!
