It looks like Jamie Lynn Spears’ husband, Jamie Watson (yes, seriously, they have the same name… if you’re weirded out by that, don’t worry, you’re not the only one!) has taken to fighting back against #FreeBritney supporters in the comments of Jamie Lynn’s instagram.
In one particularly grievous comment he stated of the singer, “If she didn’t have her Dad, she would be broke and dead.” a commenter echoed all of our sentiments by replying, “Whoa buddy” to which Watson replied, “I know the world hates facts.”

What facts, where? He seems to be ignoring the fact that Britney does not fit the criteria for a conservatorship in the first place by simply being employed and taking care of her daily needs. Conservatorships are generally in place for people who are completely incapacitated and not able to hold jobs.
In fact a few of the legal experts that have spoken out about this case say that in all of their time as lawyers when there has been a case of conservatorship, not one of the conservatees has held a job. So he’s clearly pulling facts from an alternate universe there and not the one we’re living in where Britney’s able to function all on her own.
Then in a declaration that the followers thought was Jamie Lynn herself instead of Watson, he said, “And my wife has never ever been anything but a perfect sister. That is a fact.” the follower, who wasn’t buying it simply replied, “Jamie Lynn, please give the phone back to your husband.
We know this isn’t him.” then, someone, we’re not sure who responded, “But I am not going to explain myself to all these people who believe all they read on the internet.”
They didn’t directly come out and say that they weren’t Jamie Lynn Spears, but they didn’t exactly deny it either, so that begs the question – was Jamie Lynn Spears trolling as her husband to the #FreeBritney movement? Or was it actually Jamie Watson, the fierce keyboard warrior trying to defend the family’s honor? We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
