’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers tells that, when Ellie went to Providencia, Columbia, she said she wanted a nice, easy, beach life where she would open a bar and live in the house that Victor was fixing for her and just have a cushy life on the island.
However nothing prepared her for just how much devastation she was in for once she went to the island to survey the damage. Right now she and Victor are staying on the neighboring island of San Andres, which is 50 miles away from Providencia. However, money doesn’t grow on trees obviously and Ellie said herself that she doesn’t know how to survive like this.

This has garnered some hate within the fandom for her, because initially she was all for helping Victor get back on his feet but now she seems to be balking, and just from what we can see in the previews from next week that are playing out, this will only get worse.
Ellie is not used to a place where existence is so volatile. Hurricane season is a thing on most islands so if she can’t handle walking into one now, she probably can’t handle living there full time. Either way, she thought that her life was going to be completely different.
Also there has been speculation that Ellie did not sell her business and is probably just a silent partner and is letting someone else run the business, neither did she actually get rid of her house back in Seattle and is probably just renting it out as an airbnb or something (hey, the Plaths do it!), these two moves would actually be smart moves on her part and it would guarantee that she had a place to go back to if things went south and she didn’t actually end up with Victor for the long term.
However there’s also been rumblings about her doing a gofundme for the island and about how she updated that very recently. There was also speculation that she moved Victor’s entire family to Seattle but nobody really knows that for sure. We’ll see what’s coming next week. Stay tuned!!!
