‘Dancing With the Stars’ spoilers find that the ABC competition show doesn’t seem to understand the word ‘announcement’. It has been touted for weeks now that the cast for the 30th season of the dance show will be revealed on September 8 on GMA, yet last month two celebrity dancers were announced.
Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast, Suni Lee and YouTube and Dance Mom’s star, JoJo Siwa were the first names to be promised to join the show. Now, four more names have been added to the almost confirmed roster.
‘Dancing With the Stars’: New Cast Member Leaks
Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore will get to use her signature ‘making an entrance’ twirl on the dancefloor now and (one of the few remaining) The Talk hosts, Amanda Kloots will be pulling double duty as host by day, dancer by night.
A controversial addition to the ‘celebrity lineup is Olivia Jade– YouTube influencer, better known as Lori Loughlin’s daughter but best known as college scandal profiteer and NOT rowing crew member at USC
Season 25 Bachelor, Matt James is competing for the disco ball trophy. James’ best friend and Bachelorette alum, Tyler Cameron was the one to draw suspicion when he was seen in the dance studio working on his moves and the most recent Bachelorette ‘winner’, Blake Moynes has also caused a furor online with none-too-veiled comments about joining the show after Bachelor Executive Producer Robert Mills promised a big DWTS announcement.
It seems the back and forth tweeting was all tongue in cheek and it’s James who will be filling the expected Bachelor Nation quota this time (and maybe Cameron- besties at war on the dancefloor? I’m down!)
To be fair to Dancing With the Stars, these four additions to the show weren’t exactly ‘announced’ but seen heading into the rehearsal space…but if The Masked Singer can figure out how to keep their celeb contestants a secret, surely DTWS can too!
With six cast members down, six more are yet to be announced.
One spot is expected to go to Beverly Hills 90210 alum Brian Austin Green, rumored to be pair with his dancing pro love, Sharna Burgess.
Now…who else has a bunch of time up their sleeve?
