There’s a new report that suggests Prince William and Kate Middleton might not have the vacation they deserve at Balmoral this year, thanks to royal troublemaker Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess have reportedly taken a trip to the Scottish royal residency with their three children, but the mood there might be a damp and sour one thanks to Prince Harry after he announced that he’s writing a memoir. Here’s what you need to know.
Prince William, Kate Middleton Having A Hard Time Relaxing At Balmoral Because Of Prince Harry?
The Duke of Sussex announced last month that he is writing a memoir not as a member of the royal family, but as the “man he became” after Megxit. Still, seeing how both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have managed to throw the royal family under the bus during numerous occasions this year, both William and Kate can’t help but wonder just how much more mud will Harry sling in their direction with their new book.
Royal commentator Daniela Elser suggested William and Kate’s Scottish vacay is “shaping up to be a rotten one.” If that weren’t enough she thinks that Prince Harry’s memoir will bring another “walloping” for the royals.
Prince Harry’s new memoir will be published in late 2022, which means we have an entire year before we can get our hands on it. The memoir will be released by Random House in the U.K. and Penguin Random House imprint Transworld in the U.K. The book will cover his “lifetime in the public eye from childhood to the present day,” and he’ll “offer an honest and captivating personal portrait.”
Harry himself even said he’s writing it “not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” adding that the memoir will delve into the “highs and lows” of his life and allow him to share “what I’ve learned.”
He added, “I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”
