‘Love in Paradise’ Spoilers reveal that, 30 year old Florida native, Amber was on vacation in Costa Rica, when she met Daniel, a Venuezuela native who happened to be living in Jaco.
She and Daniel hit it off immediately, although she did say that before she met him she had been a bit of a hook-up queen and had hooked up with several guys on several islands that she had visited, but not every island, just some of them. (Hey, she’s not that type of girl.)
‘Love in Paradise’: Engaged in Paradise?
However, it seemed for her that Daniel was the one, so they ended up getting engaged. Like the 90 day fiancé applicants, they applied for the K1 Visa. However, what is generally a 3-4 month process got cancelled by COVID and ended up being 11 months so far.
Right now, Amber is still waiting, so she’s on her way back to Jaco, Costa Rica to be with Daniel for awhile so that they can, again, figure things out. The bad thing is, is that Daniel lost his job because of COVID so right now, not only is Amber stuck paying for a Visa, she’s also stuck financially supporting Daniel.
He can’t help losing his job to COVID like a lot of people did, but one wonders if this isn’t going to cause a rift in their relationship later on because we’ve seen it drive a wedge between some of the couples on 90 day fiance, and we wonder if it’s going to be the same for them.
As for Daniel, he’s not even originally from Costa Rica, he’s from Venezuela and just living in Costa Rica, one wonders if that’s going to cause any sort of drama as well simply because Costa Rica and Venezuela are different countries and the US has a different relationship with each of them, while Costa Rica hasn’t made waves, one wonders a bit about Venezuela and if that didn’t add some time onto the Visa process as well.
However, this does not seem to be a situation like Angela and Michael Illesanmi of 90 day, or for that matter, Ronald and Tiffany Smith of 90 day, Daniel seems to be an ordinary law-abiding citizen, so hopefully it won’t take that much longer.
The thing that concerns me is Amber’s sisters, they were quick to remind her that she had to come home and go back to work and get back to her life, so if she does plan on having Daniel around, then she’d better be preparing for full-on hustle culture. Stay tuned!!!
