As Aaliyah once sang, when it comes to love, “age ain’t nothing but a number.” Well, it seems like Scott Disick and Amelia Hamlin have taken that to heart as despite their huge 16-year age gap, their relationship is going rather strong. Or at least, that’s what Lisa Rinna says. Here’s what you need to know.
During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star says that her daughter Amelia is “very happy” with Scott, although it appears as though mom here feels differently.
Lisa Rinna Admits Her Daughter Amelia Hamlin’s Relationship With Scott Disick Is Going Strong
“How do you think I feel?” Rinna responded. “Listen, I will say this: Amelia’s very happy right now and you really want your kids to be happy, so Harry and I are very thrilled that she’s happy.”
However, back in May, Lisa addressed her daughter’s controversial relationship by saying, “It is what it is,” but still had some positive things to say about him.
“He’s more handsome in person, and he was very nice,” Rinna added. “We had a very nice time. He met Harry, and there you go.”
WIth that said, Lisa seems to be happy that because of the relationship, no one is talking about Amelia’s personal issues anymore.
“Amelia has had her struggles in the press but now it’s a new headline,” she added. “No one’s talking about the eating disorder anymore. And you know what, thank God. As a mother, I’m like, ‘Good.’ This gives her another label to deal with.”
