Billie Reed is back baby, and she’s sassier than ever before. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna has announced that she is making her way back to daytime television by starring in the new Days of Our Lives spin-off for the Peacock network. Here’s what you need to know.
Lisa shared a post for the Peacock original, “Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem,” on her Instagram account. She captioned it with, “Billie Reed is Back.
All of the romance, action, drama and surprises that only DAYS can deliver, but like you’ve never seen before. Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem is streaming soon on @PeacockTV. #DOOLBeyondSalem#PeacockTV”
Why Is Lisa Rinna Returning To Days of Our Lives?
NBC released a statement about the miniseries right after Lisa confirmed the news of her return. It says, “Over a long weekend, John Black and Marlena Evans travel to Zurich; Ben Weston and Ciara Brady have a romantic getaway in New Orleans; Chad DiMera visits some old friends in Phoenix; and Abe Carver, Paulina Price, Lani Price, and Eli Grant vacation in Miami. All find themselves embroiled in a mystery involving stolen jewels which, in the wrong hands, could cause dire consequences for Salem. It’s a race against time for ISA agent Billie Reed as she crosses the globe in search of this missing treasure.”
Of course, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder why Lisa is returning to her daytime television roots, but at the same time are very happy to see her on the canvas again.
Could this possibly mean that she might be leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Or is she just jealous that some people like her nemesis Denise Richards over at The Bold and the Beautiful have real jobs and careers? Either way, we can’t wait to see Billie in action again!
