While it doesn’t look like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be making the trip to London anytime soon, they do want to reconnect with the British Royal Family, despite all of the drama that they might be partially responsible for.
In fact, there’s a new report that says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex do want to bring their two children – two-year-old Archie and their newborn daughter Lilibet – to London to see their great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. Here’s what you need to know.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Want Queen Elizabeth To Meet Lilibet First
According to new reports, sources close to the situation say that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex absolutely do want to return to London for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations and that they will bring their children for all of the festivities, too.
By then, everyone is hoping that there will be less friction between Harry, Meghan and the rest of the royal family, especially after they seemingly threw the entire monarchy under the bus in their epic interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March.
One source told Closer Magazine: “They wouldn’t miss it for the world. Harry and Meghan are making a special trip from Los Angeles to London with Archie and Lilibet.”
Yet, a separate report suggests that Prince Harry might return to the UK a little earlier. Prince Harry was on hand to reveal a new statue of his mother Princess Diana alongside his brother Prince William at Kensington Gardens this past week.
The statue unveiling was deemed a very successful one and that might be the reason why palace officials are wanting to organize a much bigger event in the fall with the project’s charity officials and donators.
And seeing how this statue was the brainchild of both Harry and William, the Duke of Sussex will most likely have to return to the UK for this next planned event in September.
So far neither Harry or Meghan have made any comments about their future travel plans.
