NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Chanel DuPree (Precious Way) has been a great addition to the show. We’ve loved the character’s attitude and the actress’ work so far.
She and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) appear set to take over the town with their energy and ambition, although it might not be so good in Paulina’s case. However, there’s about to be a big change. Let’s talk what’s ahead and what Precious had to say about her experience on the show.

First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we’re about to see a new actress in the part. Raven Bowens is set to take over on July 6th. The change is due to Way getting cast in Partners in Rhyme, a sitcom she’s posted about on her Instagram.
They’ve apparently already ended the first season and she’s having a ball in the part in this post is to be believed. But that doesn’t mean she’s not emotional about leaving Salem behind.

Way took to Instagram to say, “I was going to wait to post this but I’m emotional today.. I’m really going to miss you all & this entire experience. Chanel was my very first tv role. I was scared excited nervous & unbelievably grateful all at the same time.
I gained so much respect for everyone I had the absolute pleasure of working with on this show thank you all for being so welcoming & teaching me so much! It was such a pleasure.”
The post was accompanied by a series of shots of the actress with the cast, as her character, and showing off a script as well as her dressing room door. We’ve got to hand it to the actress.
We already liked her performances, but seeing her post about this being her first TV part makes her work more impressive and we’re wishing her the best with her new show. However, the DOOL show must go on.

When Bowens takes over next week, she’s going to have her hands full. Her character’s relationship with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), for example seems to be getting more complicated.
More and more, Paulina is commenting on their closeness and we’ve seen a few hints Allie might be torn about their relationship at times. But that’s not all.
Recently, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Chanel saw some plans that didn’t align with what Paulina said about the square. While Paulina explained that away, you can see her getting more and more guilty/nervous the deeper Chanel gets into opening her store in the square.
This is bound to blow up in Chanel’s face, and it’s mom’s fault. So, we’re expecting a bunch of serious drama ahead for this pair, especially since Paulina’s plans are hurting her BFF’s family. Stay tuned to see how the new Chanel handles the challenges ahead.
