With Meghan Markle giving birth any day now, a lot of people simply can’t help but wonder what the Duchess and her husband Prince Harry are going to name their daughter.
While there was some speculation that they might name her Diana, after Princess Diana, Lily, after Queen Elizabeth, or even Philippa, after Prince Philip, royal fans are very torn over what the name of the future mini-princess might be. here’s what you need to know.

Of course, many royal fans have taken to social media to weigh in on the matter, with a lot of people believing that Harry and Meghan should choose a name that is as non-traditionally as possible.
Many fans have said, “If they are going to name her after a family member, it should be Doria Ragland or Diana. If it was me, I would start with a clean slate and not use a family name at all,” along with, “A while back there was a story about how she bought herself a custom Cartier watch when she first found success. It was engraved “to M love M” or something along those lines and she wanted it to be an heirloom piece. I have a feeling they’ll use an M name somewhere in the mix.”
Another critic put it this way, “I don’t understand why Royal watchers think they can guess their baby’s name. Archie was predicted by no one, and it’s clear they’re not basing their names on any royal lineage (other than perhaps Diana). They’re doing their own thing. I agree they seem like they’d go for a flower name! I really like the name Flora, personally.”
With that said, there’s also speculation that Harry and Meghan could go with a flower name with Iris, Poppy, Lily, Violet, Ivy, Jasmine, Daisy, Dahlia, Sage all in contention. What do you think?
