Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting ready to welcome another child into this world, but unfortunately that child might not have an opportunity to meet any of her extended family members – on both sides.
That’s because Harry is mostly estranged from the British Royal Family while Meghan Markle hasn’t spoken to any of her family members in several years, including her own father, Thomas Markle.
This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder if Harry and Meghan’s daughter will have non-existent relationships with the rest of the family. Here’s what you need to know.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Daughter Might Have A Non-Existent Relationship With The Royal Family
Meghan is expected to give birth any week or even day now but the only member of her family that might be present – apart from her husband Prince Harry – may be her mother, Doria Ragland.
That’s because the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have managed to drag the royal family in the mud during their multiple interviews in which they talked about their bad blood with the royals and how it has impacted their mental health.
Prince Harry has said on numerous occasions that he feels disappointed over how his father Prince Charles made him “suffer” during his childhood by not being there enough for him.
With that said, it seems like the royals also have no intention on being there for Harry, Meghan and their kids, either.
Even though the royals make it a tradition of sorts to wish other members of the firm a ‘happy birthday’ or ‘happy anniversary’ on their official social media accounts, they pretended that May 19th – which is the day of Harry and Meghan’s wedding anniversary – is just another day on the calendar.
Instead, the royals celebrated another exciting announcement – Princess Beatrice’s pregnancy. In fact, some sources behind the scenes say that Princess Beatrice, who is expecting her first child with her husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi, deliberately announced her pregnancy on the same day as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s anniversary.
It will be interesting to see if the royals will celebrate their newest member of the royal family by acknowledging the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second child when the time comes. Watch this space.
