He’s home again. There’s a new report that says Prince Harry has arrived in the UK ahead of the Princess Diana statue unveiling at Kensington Gardens next week.
The Duke of Sussex will be in quarantine for the next week at Frogmore Cottage while his wife, Meghan Markle, has stayed behind in California with the couple’s two children, Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana. Here’s what you need to know.
While Prince Harry will be side by side with his brother Prince William during the event, if there’s one person that he won’t be seeing while in the UK, it’s his father, Prince Charles. That’s because the future King of England will be in Scotland in the meantime.

But that might be a good thing seeing how reports say that Charles is quite upset over claims made by Prince Harry that he was cut off both financially and emotionally by his father.
A source close to the situation told Vanity Fair royal correspondent Katie Nicholl that the Prince of Wales is rather frustrated over the fact that his son keeps making bogus claims in public.
Back in March, Harry told Oprah Winfrey, “My family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us. I’ve got what my mum left me, and without that, we would not have been able to do this.”
“Charles was quite upset at the suggestion he had cut Harry off,” Nichol says. “Initially he didn’t and he went on to provide for some time, but there was a point when Charles decided enough was enough.”
“The bank of dad couldn’t keep handing out indefinitely,” one insider said, according to Nicholl.
Yet, a spokesperson for the Sussexes says there is no contradiction of what Prince Harry earlier said.
“You are conflating two different timelines and it’s inaccurate to suggest that there’s a contradiction,” a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said. “The duke’s comments during the Oprah interview were in reference to the first quarter of the fiscal reporting period in the U.K., which starts annually in April. This is the same date that the ‘transitional year’ of the Sandringham agreement began and is aligned with the timeline that Clarence House referenced.”
