‘Storage Wars‘ star, Jarrod Schulz has been arrested after a public feud with his ex-partner and co-star, Brandi Passante. Charges against the reality star include one count of misdemeanor domestic violence battery.
Passante and Schulz were known as “the young guns” on Storage Wars and delighted audiences with their playful rapport. Though never married, the two were in a common-law relationship and have two children.
The popular pair have appeared on all 13 seasons of the A&E reality series, where professional buyers visit abandoned storage facilities throughout the state and bid on the lockers site unseen. The hope is to discover treasures to resell.
‘Storage Wars’ Star Jarrod Schulz Arrested For Domestic Violence.
Passante announced she and Schulz had split on the first episode of the 13th season, premiering on April 20, 2021.
The domestic violence charges against Schulz stem from an April 30 altercation. Schulz allegedly turned up to a bar where Passante was drinking with friends. Schulz would not leave when asked to do so, instead began yelling and shoved Passante twice.
Police were called but by the time they arrived on the scene Schulz had left. When later speaking to authorities, he denied the shoving claims.
It has since been reported that Schulz may be removed from appearing on Storage Wars, pending the network’s private investigation into the battery charges.
Fellow cast members of Schulz and Passante claim they have been feeling uneasy with the “messy” relationship between the exes for quite some time. They have also said they no long wish to work with Schulz if the allegations against him prove to be true.
Currently both Schulz and Passante still appear on the show, however they no longer act as a team, bidding on the abandoned storage sheds individually.
Storage Wars airs on A&E, Tuesdays at 9pm ET
