A New Jersey Chihuahua set the internet ablaze when his foster mother posted a very honest…perhaps too honest description of his personality quirks on social media.
2-year-old Prancer’s foster mom, Tyfanee Fortuna wrote. “I am convinced at this point he is not a real dog but more like a vessel for a traumatized Victorian child that now haunts our home.”

Her Facebook post continued to say, “There’s not a very big market for neurotic, man-hating, animal-hating, children-hating dogs that look like gremlins, but I have to believe there’s someone out there for Prancer, because I am tired and so is my family. Every day we live in the grips of the demonic Chihuahua hellscape he has created in our home.”
Shared more that 46,000 times, the post warned, “Prancer only likes women, Mothing else. He hates men more than women do, which says a lot. If you have a husband don’t bother applying. Unless you hate him.”
Tyfanee also warned that other household pets are a no-go for Prancer’s new owner.
“Have other dogs? Cats? Don’t apply unless they like being shaken up like a ragdoll by a 13lb rage machine.”
While Fortuna admitted that she had not seen Prancer in the presence of a child, she feared how that would end up and suggested if guests come over, young Prancer “would have to be put away like he’s a vacuum.”
Fortuna admitted she knows she have a hard time finding someone who wants “a Chucky Doll in a dogs body” but, for those interested, Prancer is available from Second Chance Pet Adoption League.
She signed off from the lengthy, hilarious post with a final warning that Prancer is only 2 but will likely live to 21 out of pure spite.
Within a week, applications have come pouring in to adopt Prancer, however, Tyfanee says they have not found a right match yet.
The right victim…er, new owner must live within a 2-3 hour radius of New Jersey so they can meet Prancer and attempt to bond…perhaps a couple of times before Tyfanee can rid her home of the evil spirit. She is also seeking a woman or women unencumbered by men, children or other pets.
