Jennifer Shah’s life continues to face more turbulence, as the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has been evicted from her home in Utah.

The housewife had infamously been arrested, while filming on set, for charges relating to telemarketing fraud. Things became even more serious, as accusations emerged that Jennifer was stealing money from very wealthy clients. As a consequence, she could face up to 30 years in prison if convicted. Her landlord has responded by moving Jennifer out after reportedly accepting an offer to buy it.

With a trial date set to be held later this year, Jennifer has the terrible ordeal of that hanging over her head. In the meantime, things have not been made any easier for the following reasons: First of all, Jennifer has some very strict restrictions to abide by in anticipation of the trial. She is not allowed to travel outside her resident state (Utah) nor the country, unless she obtains permission from the authorities.

Not only that, Jennifer’s assets have taken a huge hit too. She has been prevented from using her credit cards, and as a result, any legal fees expended on the matter will have to come out of her own savings. Just when you thought that was bad enough, there is an obvious question of whether she will ever make a return to the show.

Unless she is exonerated of all charges, which at this moment seems like it is almost impossible, then the chances of her ever making a return are very unlikely. That does not mean that her time on the show will stop there. Given she was arrested on set, the producers have confirmed that they would be open to the possibility of showing how that had all played out on television.

With evidence continuing to mount up, things do look very bleak. US Attorney Audrey Strauss, who has been tasked over the case, remarked: “The so-called business opportunities pushed on the victims by Shah, Smith[co-defendant], and their co-conspirators were just fraudulent schemes.”

Time will tell whether Jennifer does any time behind bars, but regardless, her life will never be the same.
