CNN has once again caught a lot of flack for another post of theirs that says getting your COVID-19 vaccine can “up your dating game”. In a post from the news company, they listed 6 reasons why young, healthy people need to be vaccinated.
However, what they gave the people seems to be propaganda and trying to get people to vaccinate based on things that don’t correlate at all. For example, having an easier time dating. Take a look at their caption below and use the link to view the full post.
“About 36% of adults under 35 say they don’t plan on getting a Covid-19 vaccine, according to a recent Quinnipiac University poll. That’s a major problem. The US will never reach herd immunity if young adults don’t step it up. Swipe through for the reasons why young, healthy adults need to get vaccinated as soon as possible.”
CNN Says Getting Vaccinated Will “Up Your Dating Game”
It was on the last slide, “Getting vaccinated can up your dating game”, and spoke about some numbers on a “dating” app. According to Tinder spokesperson Dana Balch, “In just three months, Tinder had a 258% increase in profile mentions of the word ‘vaccine'”.
People were quick to comment on the post saying, “My immune system is the vaccine.”, “You need to fact check CNN. This is not news, it’s propaganda. 99.98 survival rate.”, “Strong immune system could back fire? What in the literal F ?”, “How do they know the long term results when long term results have not been studied…it’s only been one year”, “To Step your dating game up? LAME!! ” and “CAN YOU STOP?! CNN is a propaganda machine and your headlines and stories are a testament to that. Just stop.”
What do you think? What’s your opinion on the vaccine and do you think CNN should be telling people it will help them date better if they get it? Let us know in the comments below.
