Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings’ Will Only Be Available In Theaters September 3rd!

Marvel Studios’ ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ official teaser is finally out but the big news is that the film will not be going to Disney+ for an extra amount, but will be going back to theaters on September 3rd!

This has been the biggest news for me, as I’m a big fan of going to the theater. I have fond memories of going as a child, and love taking my children now! With things finally clearing up and people beginning to get back into the theater, you can bet we’ll be there as soon as we can!

Take a look at the official teaser below that was uploaded with the following description,

“Watch the brand new teaser trailer for Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” and experience it only in theaters September 3.”

Fans commented on the teaser,I love when the girl asked “who are you?” Shang-Chi just replied with his martial stance instead of words. It describes the character very well and I like it.”, “Jackson Wang singing the soundtrack is what I’m living for.”, “I hope they do him justice in the movies because he was a literal badass in the comics. Shang-Chi did not joke around back then”, “I feel like Shang – Chi is gonna be the Guardians Of The Galaxy of the next phase. We weren’t sure what we were getting and then we were blown away and continue to want more” and “Most people don’t realize how rare Asian male does the lead role in Hollywood films. Ngl, this is very pleasing to see and feels fresh.”

A big takeaway a lot of fans and viewers are taking is the fact of an Asian lead in the film. While there are Asian leads in Hollywood, they are obviously a lot less of the film spectrum, and stars like Jet Li, Donny Yen, Michelle Yeoh, Chow Tun-Fat, Jackie Chan and more were normally relegated to martial art films (though, isn’t that what this is?). I look forward to watching this, and hopefully, they do justice to the character.
