Ryan Reynolds shared a post from IGN last night that detailed the exciting news that Deadpool will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in his third film outing! This comes as both shocking and exciting news as Marvel has been very family-friendly up to now.

The merc with the mouth has dazzled in his first two films and fans are anxiously awaiting the third. To know that he could be canoodling with some of the cinematic heroes we already know and love just adds to the excitement.

You can see Reynolds’ post below that he shared on Instagram, and use the link to see the full post.

“First order of business: Find the guy who killed Bambi’s mom. #Deadpool3“

Fans commented on the news, saying, “What will Celine Dion be singing for the intro this time?”, “Deadpool is a Disney Princess, confirmed.”, “Deadpool Kills The Disney Universe”, “I want to see a reference to every one of your previous movies in Deadpool 3. ?” and “Finally bc Marvel should realize by now that PARENTS should be able to keep their children from seeing R-rated content and not cave when the child throws a fit”.

This news has come from Marvel President Kevin Feige himself, so it’s pretty safe to say that this is a reality, especially after being shared from Reynolds himself. We look forward to Deadpool poking fun at all of our current heroes like Thor and Spiderman and hope we see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine one last time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadpool and Wolverine on-screen in the MCU would make us all rest a lot easier at night.

‘Deadpool 3’ is said to start shooting in 2022, so we still have a ways to go before it releases. A lot will happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before then!
