HBO Max’s ‘Mortal Kombat’ released last weekend and is receiving a ton of great reviews! As a fan of the games and the original 1995 film, I couldn’t wait to watch this movie and I absolutely enjoyed it! As it turns out, fans like me are the ones who made the film!

Take a step behind the screen with the cast, writer, and director as they talk about their first experiences with the game and how they wanted to create something special with the film.

“Nostalgia is in full force. Writer Greg Russo and director Simon McQuoid, along with actors Jessica McNamee (Sonya Blade), Mehcad Brooks (Jax), Ludi Lin (Liu Kang), Joe Taslim (Sub-Zero), Max Huang (Kung Lao), and Lewis Tan (Cole Young), talk about the different influences Mortal Kombat has had on them and how they brought the video game characters to life on screen.

Mortal Kombat is now in theaters and streaming exclusively on HBO Max. Available on HBO Max for a limited time in the US only, at no extra cost to subscribers.”

Fans commented on the video, “Sub zero vs Scorpion fight was so so epic, the fight choreography was also done beautifully!!”, “Kano was such a highlight, I hope he’s brought back for the sequel as an anti-hero somehow”, “Aye!!! Mechad Brooks really won me over with his story of dressing up as scorpion is so wholesome! I saw the movie at a drive-in on Friday night, and I loved everything about it, Kano really stole every single scene he’d be in, and let’s hope he’s an anti-hero in MK2.” and “LOVED IT! The MKCU is Born!! Now Please hurry up and make Part 2!!”

What do you think? Have you watched the film yet? Let us know in the comments below.
