Seeing how the 99-year-old monarch is preparing to spend yet another week in the hospital, some believe that Harry and Meghan’s interview with the Queen of all Media should be pushed back or worse, not aired at all. Here’s what you need to know.

Many royal critics on both sides of the pond have made it no secret that they believe the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview has come at the absolute wrong time, especially since Prince Harry’s grandfather is currently in the hospital.
Some comments from Twitter have included, “On the morning Prince Philip is transferred to another hospital, and fears grow about his health, Prince Harry tells the world via a carefully curated Oprah clip how ‘unbelievably tough’ life has been recently for him and Meghan. The optics suddenly aren’t great.”
Another critic wrote, “At the risk of major pushback, I have to say the short clips of the Meghan and Harry Oprah interview do not leave me optimistic that they will avoid their usual pitfalls. If Prince Phillip dies and they air an interview complaining about press treatment, they’re gonna look awful.”
Meanwhile, a new teaser trailer suggests that Harry and Meghan are spilling all the tea and more in their new interview with Oprah Winfrey, which will air next Sunday on the CBS network.
Prince Harry also broke his silence in the trailer, too. He says, “You know, for me, I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her going through this process by herself all those years ago. Because it has been unbelievably tough for the two of us but at least we had each other.”
