NFL star Vincent Jackson was found dead on February 15th to the surprise of many. Jackson was staying at a hotel in Brandon, FL at the time when he was found. However, it looks like Jackson may have passed on or before February 13th!
Cops have been investigating and say the hotel staff saw Jackin in the same room in a slouched-over position as early as the 13th but assumed he was sleeping. However, by the 15th they had realized he wasn’t sleeping and someone at the hotel dialed 911.
NFL Star Vincent Jackson Likely Died Days Before Anyone Found Him
When the cops arrived, they confirmed he was dead. They announced the all he had for visible injuries was a small laceration on his left big toe. The death report acknowledges Jackins had a history of alcohol use, but no known drugs.
Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister announced earlier in the week that it was believed that Jackson had died from issues with chronic alcoholism.
Jackson had been staying at the Homewood Suites hotel since January and his family filed a missing person report on February 11th. To make things worse, he was contacted at the hotel by police on February 12th but concluded he was okay. Although this doesn’t seem to be the case as he likely passed just hours later.
Jackson was only 38.
