RobinHood, the trading and investment app has come under fire for blocking people from trading due to the recent GameStop boom. The people aren’t having it and seem that some made enough money to hire a pilot to get back at RobinHood.

“It’s happening. At 3-4:30pm PST a plane will be flying a banner over San Francisco that says “SUCK MY NUTS ROBINHOOD” and I slid the pilot some extra $$ to circle right above RobinHood’s HQ for a while. Go take some photos, I don’t even live there. Here’s the flight path:”

The people have spoken over the last few weeks, and investing in GameStop had quite a few interesting reactions from Wall Street and hedge funds. With Robinhood blocking people, it left a lot of people without the ability and ease to invest and they’ve made their point clear.
Is this petty? A bit inappropriate? Maybe. Did Robin Hood have this coming? Absolutely. The best part is, no one got hurt, there were no riots, and nothing got broken. Just a simple message for the RobinHood headquarters to see, and we the people stand behind it.
