’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers find that it’s a rug, it will only last for so long. Maybe in their next house, he can get the rug that he wants, but right now, fiancé Yara Zaya has a point.
She has given up a lot to be with him, he gave up her life in another country, her family, her friends, not to mention she lost a child so I honestly think that Jovi Dufren harping about the rug is rather ludicrous.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Jovi Dufren really needs to let it go about the rug.
Okay, he didn’t like the rug, but when you’re in a relationship aren’t there certain sacrifices that you make? Yara wanted a rug, I think the other stuff she may would have compromised on.
Jovi was just so mad that she was dragging him shopping, an activity that he apparently hates, that he decided to take that out on her in the form of insulting what she thought was a beautiful rug.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: So now they have no new furniture at all.
I really don’t think he’s being fair to Yara. She did give up a lot to be here, and while that is her choice, it’s not right that he gets to throw it in her face that it’s ‘his’ apartment.
She’s right about that, because he previously told her that he was getting the apartment for her, and doing all these things for her, so of course she’s going to think that decorating the place is okay.
Then he goes off and throws it in her face that it’s actually his apartment, which probably made Yara feel like since she wasn’t contributing anything that she had no right to try and pick out furniture.
I think Jovi, while he may have been technically prepared for Yara, I don’t think he was emotionally prepared for her arrival. I don’t think that he was at all prepared to emotionally give to Yara what she needs, maybe he’ll surprise me and grow, but right now he’s being selfish and kind of spoiled.
I’m glad that he told Yara that she could shop for whatever she wanted online and have it delivered in a couple of days, so in the end it was a good compromise but he kind of needs to work on how he treats her in public. That was humiliating. She already told him that if he acts like that to her again she will leave him sitting in his apartment – I don’t blame her one bit. Stay tuned!!!
