    Netflix’s ‘The Dig’ tells the story of a historic discovery as an amateur archaeologist (Ralph Fiennes) begins excavating burial mounts that a widow (Carey Mulligan) hires him to do. However, as the beginning of World War II looms, they must not only race against time but for their lives.

    I personally cannot wait to watch this film. It will release On Netflix on January 29, after a short stint in select theaters! Viewers are also looking forward to this film, saying, “Based on the famous Sutton Hoo dig and the discovery, along with the ship, of the Anglo-Saxon helmet. It was buried around 625 and is widely believed to have belonged to King Rædwald of East Anglia.”, “FINALLY! A film on archaeolgy.”, and “This looks amazing. So excited to see my forever girl crush, Carey Mulligan! She is one of the most amazing actresses of this age! Absolutely BRILLIANT!”.
