’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers find that Rebecca Parrot and Zied Hakimi are one of the couples on the eighth season of the show. When Zied finally made it to the states, he was in for quite a shock. Rebecca wanted to open up more about his experience when he first arrived. She was happy to share some extra insight on what happened when he got to America.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Rebecca Spills Some Tea
Rebecca told her fans, “He basically said, ‘This is not what I thought it was going to be,’ and he was very unhappy. He miss his family, and it was really hard. It was a struggle. I know if I were going to Tunisia and I was going to live there, I would have something in my head of what… to expect. I don’t know what it would be, but I guarantee you sitting in quarantine wouldn’t have crossed my mind. That’s not something that’s in your toolbox to consider.”

Zied did make it to America just as the pandemic was beginning and of course, none of us thought that quarantining for months would ever be a thing in our lifetime. We can only imagine what Zied was thinking when he had to quarantine in a foreign country.
Rebecca added, “He’s never been married before. He’s never been in a long-term relationship before. He’s never been to another country before. If I were in any – literally almost any- other field of work, this would have been a blessing in disguise. Can you imagine if I would have gotten the stimulus checks and probably gotten unemployment to say home? We would have thought it was written just for us. We would have gotten to stay together… or we would have killed each other. I don’t know. But you know, because of my job, it was just the worst possible scenario.”
Zied did get lucky enough to be able to travel to the states amid all of the craziness of the pandemic. Other 90 Day Fiancé couples haven’t been so lucky, as is the case with Amira Lollysa and Andrew Kenton. Amira got detained in Mexico City and we are still waiting to see what happens with her.
