SmackDown takes places tonight as the Clash of Champions PPV gets ever closer, and there have already been a number of segments that have been announced for the show. The WWE Universe is already getting exciting ahead of the PPV, as the last two have shown that the WWE are finally getting to grips with the lockdown-era of shows.

There is an expectancy that the upcoming show will continue to build on the last two successful PPV’s, and there are some he storylines that are set to continue during SmackDown this evening.

WWE News: Tag Team Re-Match Announced

It has been revealed that there will be a re-match of the main event from last week’s episode, as Jey Uso and Roman Reigns will once again look to be on the same page as they take on King Corbin and Sheamus. There seems to be a bit of animosity building between the Universal Champion and Uso judging by the end of the show last week.

Reigns has been the hottest star in the company since aligning with Paul Heyman a few weeks ago, and it does seem as though it’s only a matter of time before he snaps with Uso. And, that could happen during tonight’s show.

WWE News: Sami Zayn and AJ Styles Battle

The Intercontinental Championship picture is certainly one of the most interesting at present. Sami Zayn finally made his return a couple of weeks ago, and he believes he is still the rightful champion as he never lost the gold. However, Jeff Hardy will have a thing to say about that as he recently beat Styles for the new title.

Styles and Zayn will battle on SmackDown tonight, with both superstars looking to win the likely triple threat match that they have coming up, which will determine the rightful owner of the Intercontinental Championship.

WWE News: Sasha Banks Returns, A Moment Of Bliss

Sasha Banks will make her return to the blue brand tonight as she addresses the beat down that she suffered at the hands of Bayley a couple of weeks ago. Banks has already teased on social media that she wants a title opportunity, and it will be fascinating to see whether the former best friends once again come to blows tonight.

The final segment that has been announced at present will see Alexa Bliss host A Moment Of Bliss, where she will welcome Nikki Cross. Bliss hit Cross with a Sister Abigail during last week’s episode of the show, and it will be interesting to see where Bliss’ character goes next as she is entangled with The Fiend.
