However, we want to play Devil’s Advocate a minute. Let’s explore why Cyrus might have a point, as well as what me might want to do with GH.

First, let’s give a quick rundown in case you missed it. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Cyrus is being very intentional. He has, step by step, gained his freedom, salvaged his reputation, and put his name in the running to take over when GH was having financial problems.
This shows he’s a smart, determined guy who’s willing to bide his time. And that makes him one of the more dangerous types to deal with. Plus, he’s cool as can be.
When Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) accused him of killing Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan), he didn’t give away a single hint of his previous dealings with Jordan. Nor did he incriminate himself as being in any way involved in shady business.
Not what Jordan was expecting to hear, but we do think he’s being genuine. He was quick to call someone to check on this Neil guy and what happened. He wouldn’t have to do that if he was involved.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Big changes
So, now that he is the top guy at GH, General Hospital spoilers reveal he made a lot of changes fast. First, he fired Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman). That obviously created a lot of anger, but he wasn’t done.
Now, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is the new Chief of Staff, while Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) has been promoted to an administrative position that keeps her away from patients. Plus, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) got dropped down to part time status.
There’s obviously a reason behind all these moves, and we’ll get to that in a minute. But don’t expect this to be the end of the shake-ups, because Britt made it clear she wants to evaluate more of the hospital’s staff and operations.

We’re gonna play Devil’s Advocate now. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal the firing of Monica and Bobbie was shocking to the characters, and we’re sure there’s a lot of fans out there who are unhappy with that development.
However, we don’t think he was totally wrong. They did basically take part in forging documents and operated on a child without both parents’ consent. Plus, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was left on the roof all night and it was clearly not great weather out there.
Who knows what Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was secretly hoping for when she did that? And no one did anything sooner. In fact, they were pretty cavalier about the whole incident. That wouldn’t really fly with a lot of judges, so GH’s future was on the line. The obvious bias and personal connection would’ve made Nelle’s case a good one.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What’s next?
So, what does Cyrus want? Well, he’d already used opioids to kill a couple of Jordan’s former teammates. He’s also a drug lord, so a big hospital could be a big boon for him. On the surface, he can pretend to be a respectable professional.
Behind the scenes, he’s got the opportunity to create more addicts. Which would explain trying to get so many people away from patients, or out of the way as much as possible. Stay tuned!
