TLC ‘My 600-Lb Life’ spoilers finds that often fans wonder what happened to the cast members after their season is over. One of the most popular cast members is Doug Armstrong.
Doug was on the fifth season of the show and he made quite a bit of progress when he was on the show. Fans were excited that he wanted to work hard on losing the weight he needed to in order to get a gastric bypass surgery.
He had lost over 200 pounds when his season aired. TLC was very proud to have him on the show and fans really were cheering him on. So what is he doing now?
When Doug was on the show, he talked about how much it really did change his life and the way he looks at life. It looks like he did continue to lose weight and keep it off after the show aired.
On social media, he shares a lot and he shared with fans some before and after pictures. It looks like he is doing very well when it comes to his weight loss.

Doug told fans that keeping the weight off is not easy, but when he found out that James “L.B.” Bonner died in 2018, he knew he had to stay motivated. He told his fans that Bonner was his inspiration and he was incredibly hurt when Bonner died.
Doug’s family is very close and he has adorable children! He has talked about how they motivate him to live his best life and keep the weight off so he can keep his health balanced. He and his wife just had another child and now they have four!
In Doug’s Facebook photos, it does look as if he is having a much easier time moving around and keeping up with his children. It has got to be hard to be obese and try to run around after four kids and we are glad that he is keeping up with them all these days.
Doug and his wife are really enjoying the extra time that they have had with their kids during the pandemic and he hopes that they will be able to start going out again soon. (We all can hope, right?)
