In these trying times, it’s important to remember our history and where we come from and what’s happened before. HBO Max is releasing a documentary next month about Yusuf Hawkins, the young man who was shot and killed in New York nearly 30 years ago.
The official trailer was released today and shows the racial prejudice that killed Yusuf Hawkins. Follow the story of the young man and the marches that went on in New York after his death. The following description is what was on the trailer,

It’s hard to imagine the hate that people have in this world, and it may be something that’s never understood, but what we can do is rally around evil. This may be a very important documentary, not just so people know and remember Hawkins, but so people can see his story in today’s climate where we are currently heated.
