CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that fans are ready to rock and roll as we continue along this week of fun in the sun memories. It’s not that we expect things to go smoothly because, well, when do they ever on daytime television?
Case in point, this episode comes to us from August 3, 2000 and is full of some interesting moments like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) continues to make progress with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Nothing like some typical drama to get things flowing, right?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For July 8: Phyllis make her push
Phyllis isn’t one to be denied something or someone she wants, and for one reason or another, her sights are on Michael. It’s hard to say for sure given the time frame and the lack of continuity leading up to this episode. With that in mind, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers can only assume what this is about, and it can only be something fun.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For July 8: Michael Defends Phyllis
In many ways, Michael is the perfect match for Phyllis both personally and professionally as they’re both sharks in their own right. Of course, Michael’s reputation is a bit better than Phyllis’, depending on who one talked to, so he had the task of assuring others that she was focused on her career and was no longer a troublemaker.
Of course, we all know that’s a lie, but Phyllis is pretty good at convincing others she ahs good intentions. In fact, she may be honest most of the time and situations change.
It could be argued that Michael was the perfect person to reign her in and help keep her focused on her career, but he’s also the worst one since he often allows his ambition to overwhelm his common sense.
It’s something they both have in common, and them getting together could lift them to super villain status. Of course, there’s always the chance they’d find a happy medium, but is that a rick anyone around them is willing to take?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For July 8: What could’ve been
‘Young and the Restless’ think it would’ve been pretty cool if these two had remained together and become a super couple. Sure, they would’ve had some good fights, but between them, they could’ve given Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) a much grander run for their money on several fronts than they already had.
It’s one of those things we think would’ve been fun to witness. Be sure to check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
